Fuerteventura Holiday Offers

When you first drive through Fuerteventura you may be mistaken for thinking that you are in the middle of the desert. The huge, golden sand dunes role on for miles, imagine letting the kids loose on them. This is the second largest Canary Island and is ideal for relaxing summer holidays, although no matter what time of year you visit here the weather is always warm and the sea inviting. Get down to the local market and haggle for a bargain, then stroll down to the harbour and have a drink in one of the bars, which over look the sea. Sounds like heaven. The nightlife on Fuerteventura is pretty low key so if you're looking for party nights then maybe Tenerife or Gran Canaria would be a better choice. After lazy days on one of the many beautiful beaches why not have a go at surfing, windsurfing or diving, just a few of the sports you can try if you're feeling a bit adventurous. Eating Out

The local specialities are typically spanish with paella, freshly caught fish and garlic prawns featuring high on many menus. Food is served in most of the bars where you can opt for a snack or a full three course meal. International cuisine is available at many restaurants as well as good old British pub grub.

Places of Interest

Make it a two centre holiday and make a short trip across the waters on a luxury catamaran to visit Lanzarote. Take a camel ride on the beach through sand dunes which seem to go on for ever and ever, or visit Timanfaya national park and see fire mountain the lunar volcanic landscape.
